Nope, no I don't.
Or more accuratly, I do, I just choose not to use it for that purpose (not that I have anything against cops, I just have no ambition to be one).

I was a cop for 21 years, had several of my friends get killed in the line of duty, was there to deal with my partner killing a bad guy.
Yeah, I have what it takes, and I liked helping people and sometimes putting some truly bad people in jail for everything from murder, robbery on down.
I guess the sad part is some of the people who responded are so brave in a closed format, they would do "blah, blah, blah" but they've never risked their lives for anyone else, nor will they.
I worked with some of the biggest heart people I have ever had the privilege of knowing as a cop and I wouldn't trade that time for anything.

No. That's why I didn't go through with actually going into the academy when I was a youngster interning with the police and working for police depts. in various capacities.
I have no shame in admitting that I'm glad others have what it takes to be cops, but I just didn't. I have plenty of what it takes to deal with the "bad guys," but I do not have what it takes to see the ugly side of human existence and meet the angriest of angry people on a daily basis.

Since I am one and I married one, yes. Too bad you people who put the profession down like drugs and crime too much to actually serve your community to do something as honorable as those I choose to spend my time with. To those who serve, you are a true HERO. Keep doing what you do every day. You might not get the thank you's, but some people (the law-abiding ones) do appreciate it!!

Yep, but there's not enough money in it to support my drinking habit!
