I have a family member in prison and I tell him to call me. He definitely calls but collect calls are very expensive. He told me that there is a way to receive calls on the cell phone and much cheaper than accepting collect calls on the home phone number. He mentioned that you would prepay for these calls. Does anyone know how this works? Or what company offers this plan? I would hate if my phone bill comes to $700 again. I had lots of trouble paying for it and would hate to be in a situation like that again. HELP!!

Can he dial a toll free number ??

just get yourself a toll free number. It only costs pennies per minute when he calls you.

The name of the company is Correctional Billing Services and I use it and it works Great. It's prepaid and you can not go over the prepaid amount so you'll know ahead of time how often he can call. It works with any cell phone there number is 1-800-844-6591
