Also I asked my mom about this and she said I should appoach my manager and ask him when I get pid. I just dont wnat to sound rude or anything like that. How should I ask? I know next time that I will ask before I get hired but hey my first job so didnt really faze me on asking that.

It's not rude to ask your manager "By the way, when can I expect my first pay check?"

It will probably be a 2-week cycle, and everyone will probably be paid on a Friday afternoon.

There is lag-time between the work cycle and the pay cycle. It takes a lot of accounting work to generate the payroll, so pay checks typically lag by one work cycle. In other words, you may get little or no money on the first payday, but don't be discouraged by that. It's normal, and perfectly legal.

Good Luck

Everybody will get paid at the same time. Most companies pay every week or every two weeks, but some only pay once a month. If there is a payday just after you start, you don't usually get a check until the next payday. Pay is usually a week back - if payday is next Friday, it would be for this week, not next week.

It wouldn't be rude to ask your manager when you'll get paid - it's a fair question and they really should have told you that when you started. Or ask one of your coworkers.

Good luck on your job.

to have an idea you can also ask your co-workers. normally there is a certain pay day of the same time for all he employees.
you don't have to personally ask the manager. your resources will do.
