It's seems to me that human-kind will bring it's own end. They're going nowhere fast.

The world will be fine. We're not powerful enough to destroy it and I doubt we will be powerful enough within 500 years. I'm pretty sure the people in the world will probably be fine too.

Well, considering I'll be dead for 500 years I won't know anything about it. But I think it will be like Mars, a dead dry planet, unable to support life as we know it. We Earthlings will have killed ourselves off long before then.

there will be a mass extinction
Climate change or possibly a major war, the world cannot sustain the population growth at its current rate that long. Something big will have to happen.
