As long as the slacks are dark Grey they should be fine with the light blue shirt. As for the Grey slacks with the hints of blue, that depends on the shade of Grey. The second choice will always work with white shirt. Since they are both from Old Navy have you tried them on? Some people don't wear certain colors well. The darker the Grey they better the look (classic).

go with the grey slacks with the hints of blue and the light blue button up...it will show that you take your time when you make decisions and that you want to make sure that everything ties in and works together effectively

That used to be the famous color combination of Channel in the 80's. Looks good but could be a little too outdated.
Try dark slacks instead.

dark grey goes pretty well with any blue hue. a light blue dress shirt will look nice.. if it's more business, the grey slacks with pinstripes would look nice with the shirt.

Gray and blue look really nice together, very monochromatic, very stylish. I think the gray pants from Old Navy with the hints of blue would look even better.

A great rule to remember is that gray, white, and black can go with anything, male or female!
