My boombox cassette player and the record button it had. I liked to pretend I was on the radio. My station played "All Thriller, all the time." That's the song, not the album.

I also loved my massive Master's Of The Universe collection and My Pet Monster.

Below: Are you thinking of Spin Jammers? Frisbees you could balance on your finger?

Okay, I was going to answer your question, but I'm evidently 'way too old' ... my kids were kids in the 80s. But guess what ... my husband and I are still both 'kids' at heart, and we can remember the toys we had when we were 'little' in the 50's and 60's. I can remember a little toy car my grandparents kept for me to play with ... I HATED that car, because I was a girl. My husband has an old 'horse and buggy' but the wheel on one side is broken. We don't own a car even though we both know how to drive. We live in the city and take a bus, or take a cab home when we have too many purchases to carry on a bus. We are 'green' and we have money to spend on 'fun stuff' ... but what do those 'childhood toys' tell you about us? Think about it!
Oh, and yes, I remember Wacky Wall Walkers, and Rock'em, Sock'em Robots ... my kids had both of those ... also Hot Wheels, Transformers, and Star Wars Figurines.

Older? Hah!
My favorite toy was something called Incredible Edibles, and that toy was preceded by another favorite toy -the name long-forgotten, now - in which the creatures we made were NOT edible... that's when I was a kid... the 1960's.

EDIT:
CREEPY CRAWLERS!!! The first ones were Creepy Crawlers... then they made this stuff called "gobbledy g o o k" and it made the Creepy Crawlers edible... we made tons and tons of those things!

Hmm... why is g o o k censored??

WOW! I found a link to someone's web page... a guy who has photos of the Incredible Edibles thing! Also, a link to the Creepy Crawlers maker... that's the one WE had!

It's predecessor, Creepy Crawlers (the one with the bugs and lizards, etc...):http://www.samstoybox.com/toys/Thingmaker.html

I loved my Tiffany Taylor doll! She had both blond hair and brown hair, and the top of her head swiveled around so she could be either hair color-depending on what you wanted. She also wore a gold lame bathing suit, and made Barbie look like Twiggy!
