My fujitsu S series laptop has been recently damaged (pounded), it doesn't seem to be seriously damaged, but I could tell that it isn't the same as before. I bought it from Fry's, so, should I go to Fry's to let them check it out? I just want someone to take a look at my laptop in person and not some useless technical support over the phone or online chat.

One is a bad as the other, some are worse. I would go to Circuit City and pay the fees, or take it to the Campbell Fry's. For some reason have had bad experiences with Geek Squad. Don't care for their methods of service.

Your best bit is the Fry's store, since you have bought it from them let them take care of it. they may not answer you on a busy time right a way but you can ask them.

if it is still under warranty take it back where you brought it,if not take it to a good repair shop that has a good reputation so you don't get ripped off
