my boy is 9 months today, and he eats everything, crackers graham cracker on his own. I give him all sorts of mushed up foods like green beans, bananas, ect. Just give him one new thing at a time in case of allergies and if he hasn't gotten used to solids then make that baby oatmeal or rice cereal, and mix it a little thicker ever few day, that way if he seems to have trouble with it you can thin it to his liking. I also mix in the baby food to make it tastier. He still drinks milk everyday too of course. Just start giving him food and by 12 months you should be mainly feeding solids. Good luck.

If he is hungry feed him as much as he wants. Babies tend not to overeat unless they are forced to eat when they don't want to. By 10 months you can give him basically anything you are eating, but make sure it is blended up. The best present I ever received at my baby shower was a Braun stick blender with all the attachments. I used the food processer attatchment to blend up spaghetti, homemade beef stew, casseroles, etc. My son is now 3 and eats almost anything.

I'm not sure how much 400 grams is but I can tell you he is not getting nearly enough. He still needs to be on formula everyday until he is 12 months old. You can give him soft foods cut up really small. Fruit, veggies, noodles, bread. Your child needs milk...everyday!!!

Try using cous cous or baby rice as fillers. Puree your own vegies and meat or anything that you have for dinner that isnt too strong. You can freeze it once its cooked.
