Yes, the particular propaganda book that caused a significant modification in the behaviour and lifestyle in European society in the 1900s was called 'The Protocols of the Elders of Zion." Its affect was turn large number of Europeans into paranoid anti-Semites fearing a Jewish conspiracy for world domination, not to mention the thousands of Jews who died because of this infamous forgery.

Well, George Orwell had an impact on people to not take radio so seriously when he made people think that aliens were invading. LOL. The book 1984 made people think of the government as Big Brother which caused people to think twice about giving up their rights and is going on strong today with the new anti terrorism laws. I'm thinking of a newspaper article about the Lusitania sinking that cause an uproar and a war because the public got angry. It turns out the Lusitania probably did not sink by a German torpedo after all. There are many TV shows and movies certainly, for instance The Simpsons, Sex in the City, Elvis movies with his moves, South Park and others that caused people to accept certain morals or behaviors as normal. I think there was a movie called Casual Sex in the 80's. OH, OH, OH, The Breakfast Club showed people that we label each other. Basically all tv affects and modifies society in small ways which in time, turn into large and noticeable changes. Above me is correct with Upton Sinclairs The jungle....it talked about the meat packing industry. The era he was in had a lot of great literature that attempted to do good
