Yes, boys and girls the cost of everything is going up. No, your paychecks won't be. Yeah...It's the greed machine...work more get paid less, pay more for everything, get sick and lose everything you worked hard to get. Don't go to the polls and vote your conscience. Those that do, vote for the lesser of two evils. Then everyone becomes complainers. It's a vicsious and depressing cycle os self abuse because we let it happen thinking, blindly, that no one cares for the real working classes of this nation.
But hey, we only live once. Smile be happy, the sun is shining. For now.

You got that right. Milk is almost 5 bucks a gallon and some people have to work almost an hour just to pay for it, more if you take out taxes. It's ridiculous and there's no logical reason for it excepting that all big companies are taking their factories to other companies to make more money and then shipping their product back here to jack up a pair of 3 dollar Nike's to 150 bucks! It's stupid. If you take your factories to China, sell your products there!

I know it sucks, and their taking their sweet time raising minimum wage. They say that it will take 3 increases and more than a year for them to get to more than 7 dollars. But by then the cost of living and everything else would have increased.

price of things always go up
er unless they are on sale
if you need a larger paycheck you have to work 2 jobs
when i was young I had 5 jobs and walk 20 miles to school everyday, uphills, in the rain, and then uphills to work, and then uphills back home in the dark.

Yup, that's inflation. Prices always go up -- why they list prices of common staples like milk or gas on those "What happened on your birthday" cards. When I was a kid you could still put pennies in gumball machines....

You are absolutely correct. Teachers end up buying things for the classroom out of their own pockets for items that are continually going up, yet they won't give the teachers a pay raise.
