When someone knows enough about their own feelings from past relationships, including very close ones. Which includes also very beautiful and intelligent women who even were great friends. So when someone knows their own heart over definitely well enough time and experiences, that one knows when they are in permanent love. When someone knows that they're in permanent love for sure, with the girl next door, has any guy in that sure but failed love, been in permanent love, lost their love, and never been able to get over the girl next door for the rest of their life. Even more so, to the point where you have a fatal illness like cancer or anything else fatal and not care about fighting it anymore because without that girl in your life you don't care to fight to live anymore?

Yes, I know a guy who found himself never being able to get over the girl next door for the rest of his life because he doesn't want to forget I guess. He just wanted to linger on her memories even if that girl got on her life and have her own family. I don't know, maybe as the saying goes, "First love never dies..." even if you have your own life and you have your accumulated age over the years...

It sounds like you do not love yourself. It seems as though you have made this person your "idol" or your "god". That is wrong, wrong, wrong. Yes, a broken heart hurts. Many of us have been through some terrible breakups but life goes on my dear friend.

Make God your friend. He loved you 1st. He knew of you when your parents made you in secret. He knows the # of hairs on your head. He also gave His only son for you and for me.

You are not of your own, you were bought with a price. You should not allow your body, which is the Temple of God, to be destroyed. Take care of yourself. God has a good life in store for you. All you have to do is receive it.

Go to your nearest Christian Bookstore and purchase the New King James Version- Holy Bible and read the new testament 1st.

In the Word of God it tells you that God wants us to live the abundant life. Not a life of constant pain and turmoil. Yes, we will have temptations, trials and tests but God delivers us out of them all.

Be Blessed and Be Happy and He will give you the desires of your heart. If you want a wife. Just ask Him, Believe Him and Receive His Word into your heart and it shall come to pass.

Through faith and patience, you shall receive the promises of the Lord.

Lots of people have never forgotten their first love; if they can't get over it to the point of not caring to live or not getting on with their lives, that is mental illness. You can always hold a special place in your heart for someone you once loved, but if you don't move on with your life, that is your fault. Even people who were in deep, loving marriages for many decades manage to find new love and remarry when their spouses die. If you don't get over it, it is not that the girl was so special, but that you don't have good coping skills in life.

You don't say how old you are, but I had a great time being thankful that I didn't marry my "one true love" at our last class reunion. Fat, drunk, bald and obnoxious, he made me feel like the most gorgeous creature on the planet! Move on. And when you do find another, NEVER, EVER even mention the "other one's" name. Be happy!
