I haven't, but I think that would be a great way to tick off the woman at the grocery store that has been exceptionally rude for no apparent reason. I think I'll go exchange a twenty dollar bill or two for pennies and take them in there and buy 30 packs of gum and two magazines just to get her goose. Thanks for the great idea!!! !:)

When I was 18, I paid for $5.00 worth of gas in rolled-up pennies! The Indian man said,"I don't take pennies!" So I told him,"It's American currency and that's all I have!" He was NOT too happy!

yeah. my best friend's loser brother was hassling her to pay what she owed from having ordered something when her nephew was selling things for his class at school. (they hadn't told her when the money was due until he called that day and demanded he be able to pick it up immediately.) she didn't have the money that night, and he wouldn't wait until the next morning when she could get it out of the bank. i told her i'd cover for her...
...and then proceeded to count out $22.50 in pennies and put it in a ziplock baggie. he came over and refused to take it. he was told that if he needed it that night, this was the best he was getting, so he took it. to this day (12 yrs later) still hates me, but i manage to sleep just fine at night anyway.
