tengen toppa gurren-lagann was so kickass until Kamina died but since it was such an awesome show till then i decided to watch more to see if it would stay good, but as i suspected without kamina it was kind of shitty, especially since he got replaced with a shrill-princess-girl(omg its like the opposite of kamina i hate Nia so much!) so....
I was wondering if it gets good again later so i can know whether i should pick up at a later episode or abandon it altogether, i saw up to episode 13 and i didn't like it so if it gets better than that later plz let me know. thanks

BTW i mean that i loved episodes 1-8 and disliked 9-13 and haven't seen any others

I do agree, the show did go downhill after Kamina dies. There is going to be like a five year time skip like 3 episodes past where you are at currently, so the series does take an entirely different turn. I don't know if you can say it's for the better though...
