In a way yes, if your period is irregular you will have a hard time knowing when the best days are when you should be ovulating....it doesn't mean your less fertile just harder to hit that right day if you don't know when your period is going to happen. Best bet is have sex every day or every second day all month your guaranteed to hit it one of those days and conceive. Or you can spend some money and get a ovulation kit which can help show you if your ready or not.

It's not physically impossible or difficult simply because of an irregular period. However, if you're trying to get pregnant it can be difficult to track your period without a fertility monitor. There's also the possibility that your periods are irregular because of a fertility problem, but your periods should be very irregular to suspect a problem. There can be 5-7 days difference between cycle lengths over a given period of time without there being a problem. So it depends what you think is irregular. My periods are between 31-35 days long, and I got pregnant.

Ok you need to count from the first day of your last period to the first day of your next period, actually count the days on the calendar because some months have 30 days some have 31 and this can throw it off. This is the length of your cycle. If you have more than one month count them all. If the numbers vary by more than a day or 2 you are a little irregular. But as long as you have one every month and you aren't 28 days one month and 35 days the next you should be fine. Most women are 28 days, but I am 35. It does effect your ovulation schedule.

But for the online calculator use the date your doctor gave you for conception if they have done ultrasounds, they are usually very accurate.

I had unprotected sex with my boyfriend for over a year before I got pregnant. I'm very irregular and because of this it also took me 2 months to find out I was pregnant because I thought my period just was off again. I don't know if this is why it took so long to get pregnant though...

Yes, because if you are really irregular you have no idea when you will ovulate. My suggestion would be to track ovulation using a ovulation predictor kit, if you do that for a few months you may be able to get a feel for your cycle, or maybe predict when the best time to conceive is. If that doesnt work you can see your OB/GYN and he can prescribe hormones for you to take to make you ovulate on a schedule. Hope that helps!

the window to get pregnant is small with any women. the egg is only ripe for a long time. So if you have irregular periods then its hard to say when your fertile days. your go days. but yes you can get pregnant as long as you have cycles.

on a normal 28day cycle your go days is 13-16days after you start your period. Your not fertile all those days but those are the baby making days!!!

No, i would think it would be harder for you to find out if you are pregnant. If you had a regular period and you missed a period then it is common to think that your pregnant but since your irregular then it would be kind of hard to know.

it depends. what happens when u have an irregular period is that it's hard for YOU to know when u ovulate.

if the woman buys an ovulation predictor kit, then she'll know exactly when she ovulates, thus the answer to your question would be no

if she doesn't have one, she can try charting her cervical mucous, size of cervical os, and temps. that's a bit more tedious.
