I want to act, but I can't find anything in my local newspaper, and I missed the audition for the school play because I was on vacation. Can anybody give me a good site to find auditions in my area (Chicago suburbs)? I have no real acting experience by the way

Local auditions are usually listed in the newspapers. You really are going to have a hard time getting cast without experience. Taking your school education so lightly that you missed the auditions for the play seems a bad practice. It is only through school plays that you will learn the basics of acting. Try a web search for "Community theatres in (insert the name of your town" Call them and ask about their next auditions and if there is a role for someone your age? Good luck!
