I have.
I have been to Ohio, Florida, South Carolina, California, North Carolina, Pennyslvania, and New York.
Some places are better than others.
Hated Ohio
I don't remember Florida. I was too young.
I liked North and South Carolina- thought it was pretty but I think the people have annoying accents there.
Pennyslavania- pretty
New York- loved it.
California- it was fun!

Once on a working holiday back in 1980. I spent four months in Albany NY. it was great from beginning to end. My colleagues treated me like a king and I travelled around a lot. The distances are amazing. New England is about 4 times the size of the UK, so it took a bit of getting used to. I once hired a typically american car from "Hire a Heap" and drove it to Boston. I felt great. Young single and the world at my feet. If ever you get the chance, go for it. Fom like that is worth more than money can ever buy, and we should thank God that we have this freedom to travel, freedom denied to so many other people.

I've been to Las Vegas twice. I found Americans courteous, fun and non judgemental. A breath of fresh air after the shi**y attitude we seem to be adopting in this country. Went to Arizona too and the scenery was spectacular. Definitely going back to the States in the future.

Yes
Charleston, West Virginia (pretty boring)
Springfield, Virginia - Used as a base for visiting Washington DC - which I really liked (Really liked the bars in the Mall in Springfield as well ... great beer, good food)
New York City - Was to hot when I was there, which didn't help my view of the place, wouldn't rush back, but wouldn't rule it out either.

Ive been twice, both times to Florida. I liked it, the people are nice and the shopping is great. Not sure Disney is what the USA is all about though.

It's like we're living in the States already with all the US TV shows we have over here.
My neighbour went to California and she told me she hated it there

My brother is married to a girl from Atlanta. Love it. The manners and genuine warmth of the people put us to shame.
