MS Word doesn't know everything. It's a perfectly good word, so add it to your dictionary. If it's good enough for the Mayo Clinic (see the link below), it's good enough for me! :-)

Robotically isn't a word because it derives form the word robot. It would be like saying "He was very robotical". You are probably trying to think of the word automatically. However, i wouldn't doubt ROBOTICALLY will end up in the dictionary.

"Robotically" is a perfectly good word! Don't depend on MS Word!
To prove it, just type in a few sentences from Shakespeare and see how many "errors" MS Word finds! LOL!

Perhaps since robots started popping up just last century, and Webster dictionaries haven't really thought about it. Robots are relatively new you know. The word that's usually used instead of ROBOTICALLY is MECHANICALLY, since besides the programming, robots are almost completely mechanical.

MSWord does not recognize the word "robotically" because you are attempting to change a noun (robot) and use it as a verb (robotically). You would have to say, "...washing the dishes in a robot-like manner..." to be gramatically correct.

because robot is a noun , and it would be like saying "truckily" or "typewriterly". ( but, I'm like you, I would think it's a word. ) Perhaps MSWord is wrong !
