I think it's an IDE, but the edges are curved, not like others I see on google and stuff.

That is an internal 68pin SCSI round ribbon cable (Male). Mostly used in Raid systems with SCSI hard-disk to connect to an Adaptec Raid card for example.

its a scsi cable (pronounced scuzzy) was quicker than ide back in the day
