what is vegas like during the week of december 13-17?

Question

this is a thrusday through monday stay, which includes the weekend. how is the weather, and are the casinos still pretty crowded? or is it a low season? i would imagine it would be crowded because the college crowd just got into their winter breaks. i actually prefer it to be a little crowded. if it was a ghost town, it would ruin the party atmosphere for me.

info on any events or conventions going on that weekend would be a plus =D

Weather - I hope it's going to be nice, lol . I arrive the 13th also. You never know about December, it might be 70+ and sunny or it could be 50 and overcast.

Thursday will be pretty slow, but things will pick up Friday & Saturday, then slow down again Sunday as the weekend crowd heads home. You have nothing to worry about, it's never "dead" in LV.

Vegas is never a ghost town. i think DEC is great. yes its there slow time but there's a big crowd.what i like about it is there's not many kids. families are home for Xmas so your not try to get around some one pushing a twins stroller. the crowd does pick up about The 20th-Jan 2. you will just miss them. i say go. Vegas is Vegas any time of the year.....HAVE FUN....p.s if this is your first time there go to some shows. first timer normally don't. you haven't seen Vegas if you don't take in a show or 2.

It's excellent! There's never a bad time to be in VEGAS! December will be the quiter less crowded and less costly month. If your into th trdational holiday sprit, be sure to venture to all the "BIG" hotels and view their decorations. Especially the Bellagio.
