Ibanez is a good reliable brand, but get the Jasmine guitar. My first guitar teacher had a beautiful Jasmine acoustic, so I'd go for that.

It depends on your playing level/style. If you're just learning go with the Jasmine and spend what you saved on tabulature books, strings, and picks. The Ibanez is probably a slightly better quality guitar, but if you're just begining you won't notice the difference. Experimenting with different strings and picks will keep you busy enough, don't worry about the slight differences in brands.

I would definately go for the Ibanez out of the two, but a better idea would be to go to your guitar center or whatever you have in your town, and play them, thats the only way to tell the quality and size and everything is what your looking for, a guitar for me, might not be a guitar for you, so you should actually hold them and play them to see what your comfortable with.

I'm sure both are good.

Try looking on ebay or.. go to www.americanmusical.com or
www.musiciansfriend.com and check out what they have to offer. they have many guitars to choose from and you can sort them by price and compare them.

They also have packages where you get the guitar, a gig bag, a strap, pics and other things, both also offer free shipping on many items.

Washburn, Gibson, Ibanez, Takamine, Fender and many other brands have good guitars at good prices.

Good luck.

Don't worry about brand name or looks. Get a guitar that you like the sound of and actually enjoy playing. If you buy a guitar and don't enjoy playing it, you will soon put it aside and forget about it.

get the Ibanez. That is the highest-quality commercial guitar in my opinion.

i'd go with the ibanez out of the two, but i strongly suggest (if possible) you go to a music store and try them out before buying online.
