Jeez, are you trying to cause my brain to explode or something?! We've got the band that invented heavy metal going up against the group that gave us Don't Fear the Reaper, the greatest song of the last 500 years or so? Makes the Beatles vs the Stones look like child's play.

Sabbath was good but I preferred Blue Oyster Cult.

Blue Oyster Cult. They might not have had as many hits as Black Sabbath but they had a better lead singer and the guitar work was pretty awesome, too.

Sabbath ten fold... Blue Oyster Cult's great and all, but Sabbath basically invented modern metal.

Blue Oyster Cult for me. Eric Bloom is an awesome singer and Buck Dharma is a great guitarist. They have so many awesome songs most people have never heard.
