Why dude? I have that kind of accent (hippieish) and I'm proud! You make me feel useless and now I'm going to kick myself in the butt and post it on the internet, good night!

Most people hate what they don't understand. Not liking some else's accent can go both ways.

I'm an American and I hate some of the American teenager accents. lol
But you cannot lump everyone together. There are all kinds of people, including teens, who speak well and can carry on an intelligent conversation.

Because most teenagers talk like idiots with horrific grammar and rabid swearing... in America anyways... They snort at the disrespect that Americans display for their school, parents, adults, etc. They laugh uncontrollably at American ignorance and stupidity. They have every right to do so!

i'm a English conversing American and that i'm able to inform you; not something is extra appalling or insulting to somebody in England or areas of uk etc than a pretend accessory. completely be your self and don't show off your might desire to have your ego massaged.

I dont like American accents either, and unfortunately I am indeed American.

don't american all have same accent??? I didn't know american teenager have certain accent. anyway I love american accent. American accent doesn't sound like English at all.It sounds like ung ung ung in low tone. It's so calm and gentle.

Because they are really, really annoying. To us, most American accents sound almost unbearably nasal and high-pitched, teenage accents even more so.
