Don't know about you but I'm going to Hull. Did you ever see the movie called "The Navigators"? Medieval coal miners dig their way down to escape the plague and emerge in late 20th century New Zealand. What an idea. So don't fall into any dark holes in NZ as you might come out in 14th century England.

Is it really dark? Like Black?

Cause if we fell into a Black Hole I suppose we'd go to the center as far as we could until we scrunched in to ourselves and became extremely condensed, heavy matter.

If we just fell into a dark hole I guess we'd just go to the bottom.

He Fell into a Dark Hole is a science fiction short story by Jerry Pournelle. However, if you're referring to a black hole, then there's no real answer, but you'd be dead most likely.

You'd stretch like spaghetti in a wormhole tunnel and you get torn apart and grow so brightly that it creates the brightest objects in the universe - quasars. If you survive, on the other end of black holes are white holes which spurt all matter out. This may be the key in time travel.

If you fell into a dark hole you would be in a dark hole.

Do you mean black hole? if so you never could. The increase in gravity before you got even close would crush you. Boring but true.

Now IF you could, well write your own story there.

black holes arent 'doorways' to other dimensions or universes or anything even remotely like that.

they are simply a collapsed star that is so dense and massive that even light cannot escape it, so we cant see it. if you fell into one you would be stretched out and split into protons, neutrons, and electrons (possibly even quarks) as you approached the center of the black hole the subatomic particles of your former body would be compressed so much and they would be so dense they instead of being a clump of matter it would be compressed into a single point.

o and to the guy above me, white holes are not real. mathematically they are possible. but when you apply the laws of science to them they become illogical and impossible. for instance, they violate the second law of thermo dynamics. white holes do not exist.

I've never heard of a dark hole.

If you were to fall into a black hole you would possibly be stripped down to your basic subatomic particles.

The Universe is very massive . So massive that light does not escape on its own. We are already in a very volumenous Black hole.WE did not fall into it ,we were born into it.What happens next is very predictable.
