Barbie...it doesn't seem like that would be a good answer but if you read up on Barbie and the things that the creator Ruth Handler went through she could definetely be a heroine.
Or if you want to stay more w/super heros...Jessica Albas character from The Fantastic Four...Xena...SheRa...One of the characters from The Incredibles...I'm clean out...sorry! Hope some of these help!
