Yes, you can take the two of them together. However, I would check with a health care professional to see what the dosage of the Omega-3 would be for an 18 year old.

You can take your first fish oil dose at the same time you take your Centrum. You have to read the fis oil label to find out the dosage and how many times a day you can take it. It is safe as long as you follow directions.

I take Centrum. I also take fish oil gelcaps (1,000 mg per cap) and my label says 1 twice a day. I take one at breakfast & 1 with dinner.

Just do what your own label instructs.

Fish oil supplements won't interfere with multi-vitamins. Be sure to read the packaging and just take what is recommended for both (I wouldn't take Centrum myself - its all synthetic - but some people like it).

Taking fish oil together with vitamins is quite safe. Some multivitamins actually have fish oil in them as an extra component.

The recommended fish oil amounts are normally written on the container. You normally take the capsules with meals.

Get Nature Made fish oil caplets, enteric coated to avoid fish burps. Take 3 caplets a day, preferably 1 with each meal.

I split my fish/flax/borage oil dosage through the day. I take one capsule before breakfast, one before lunch, one before dinner. Oils and most vitamins mix fine. Centrum would not be MY choice...

I wouldn't take Centrum or One-A-Day's.

Why? Nurses call them "bedpan bullets." That's because the coating on them makes it more difficult to absorb what's in 'em.

With fish oil, the typical dosage is 3,000 mgs. a day, but at your age, 2,000 might be plenty.

Yes, it's perfectly safe to take fish oil with a multivitamin, the oils might increase the effectiveness of the vitamin, in fact.

The best to you.

Why do you want to take fish oil? Or vitamins for that matter?

The best way to get vitamins and omega-3 fats is through a good diet. Include 5-10 servings of fruits and veggies daily and eat fatty, cold water fish (salmon, trout, tuna, halibut) two to three times a week.

Sure it's safe....a 1000 mg fish oil capsule once a day will do you fine. You can take it at night or morning, same time each day. Good luck.
