The Big Bang theory does not say much about Earth. It is a theory on how the universe evolved from the first second (but not at exactly zero) to now, with emphasis on very large scale events. The Earth (and the whole solar system, for that matter) are way to small to figure in there.

There were many Greek theories. Almost every large city had their philosophy school (some cities had more than one) and each school had their theory on what the universe looked like. Very few of these theories actually dealt with the origin of Earth, only what it looked like (a disk, a cylinder with us on a flat face, a sphere... take your pick)
