They don't hate the planet. They hate anyone who gets in their way while they are exploiting it.

First of all, the site you listed doesn't mention cons at all let alone hating the plane. Second, it says that sea level rise is going to happen and we can't stop it. So, if it can't be stopped by humans, how can it be can it be caused by humans? The article doesn't say that global warming is being caused by burning of fossil fuel. Third, I'm a conservative and I don't hate the planet. On the contrary, I make my living from the planet. You generalization is wrong.

I am a Conservative and I do not hate the planet. I do whatever I can to reduce my consumption of natural resources. I think we should recycle, drive less, and use less electricity because it is the right thing to do.
Conservatives think the government should not force us to do our part for the planet. That does not mean we hate the planet it just means, we think people should decide these things for themselves.
