I came up with this question a few days ago and it's been boggling me...

What would happen if your wife or husband died and years later you got re-married to someone else. When you yourself died, who would you want to be re-united with in the after-life?...your true love, the first spouse, or your more recent love, the second spouse.

your asking this under the belief that the afterlife is a section of the human race who just wander round heaven and live in peace , happiness , and no pain.

What about the view that when you die , you only spend so much time in 1 place before either being re-born or sent to another section?I was told once that when you die your soul spends an earth time of 145 years in heaven before it is sent back to earth for it's next try at a successful happy life , isnt it amazing how the bible gets written by different religions hmmm food for thought hey buddy.

I believe in re-birth , your only there for a short period before your chosen to go start your new life , you dont just die and then spend eternity in a safe haven sorry but your question is un-realistic .

None of them. But if I had to choose I'd choose my 1st husband. The second turned out to be a real prick. None the less, if there is an afterlife, I'd imagine you wouldn't be spending it with any one person. You'd be surrounded by the ones you love and whom love you.

You would spend eternity in a never-ending threesome with both of them. But if you kill some Americans in a suicide attack you dont have to spend any time with either of them in eternity, you'll be frolicking with 27 nubile virgins.

Afterlife, no one is married or given in marriage.
You don't have to choose, you can be re-united with both.

It depends on what you believe but most likely with none because in my religion you will be happy with everyone who made to heaven.
