Everyone is different. If you were significantly thin prior to being pregnant, showing already is perfectly normal. And, also, being smaller can help you feeling the baby more as well. If the doctors aren't worried, don't worry about it. There is no "normal" as far as pregnancies are concerned. Every woman and every baby are different.

I'm shocked. I'm also 9 weeks and 5 days and pregnant with my second so I do already have a belly. Is this your first? I didn't show with my first until I was 5 months. The baby is only the size of a grape or a little larger so I'm shocked you could feel the baby moving already. Are you extremely thin, that might be the reason why? Congrats!

I am 9 weeks and three days and I feel exactly the same way!!! But I think that my tummy is actually what was there all along, its just that I can't hold it in now. And I'm guess this isn't your first baby because once you know what it feels like to have it move you are very aware of that feeling. I have felt it as well, but it was high in my abdomen where I know the baby is not yet. Its funny how your body plays tricks like that. I also started spotting today which i hope you do not have to agonize about. But I called the hospital and got an ultrasound and all seems ok.

I am 9 weeks and 2 days pregnant with my 3rd, and I started to feel my baby move at 8 weeks........I felt my 2nd one this early too....I look about 4 months preggo..lol.....if you already have a child after the first your addomen muscles are stretched and tends to relax more--and you show earlier....but everyone's belly also grows at different rates....congrats on your pregnancy

Yes this is normal sweetheart, every pregnancy is different, you must be a small person because of feeling your baby so early which most ppl dont feel until 15 weeks or more, i felt my baby first move when i was 13 weeks, and get ready if your baby is already so active wait until your baby gets bigger, well congrats on the pregnancy
Pregnant with 1st and 25 weeks and 5 days

Are you sure it is not just gas? There is a lot more gas in pregnancy and at times it feels like it is its own entity but the reality of it is that the baby is way too small at 9 weeks to be feeling any of the movements of the baby. The showing could be because you are very thin? Or again it could be the bloat caused by the gas? I find it strange that a doctor would tell you that it is the baby.

I started showing around 7 to 8 wks. As far as feeling it move I don't think so. It's not possible. You could just be having gas bubbles that you think are movements.

if you are really in tune with your body, its possible to feel it this soon. I felt mine at 12 weeks...people thought i was crazy but i KNEW it was the baby. It was a different feeling than i had ever felt before and it continued through out my entire pregnancy...I started showing at 10 weeks too...whats normal for some isn't normal for others...don't worry, your not crazy...Best of luck!
