What are some of the stereotypes associated with Women ?

What qualities in a women might have given rise to these stereotypes ?

that we are weak,can't handle money, we love to shop, aren't mechanicaly minded, we need a man and babies to be complete, should be submissive and can only clean a house.all wrong, of course. how do i know? because i'm stronger than many men i know, i'm very mechanical, i'm the one that pays the bills AND runs the household and i can fix just about anything and i'm anything BUT submissive. oh, and i hate to shop.

Maybe it is true that some feminists are "emotional" but unfortunately there is still some discrimination that still happens every now and then in this country For example back in 2004 there was a class-action sex-discrimination lawsuit filed against Wal-Mart Stores because female employee of Walmart were denied promotions and were paid less than male employees Maybe if women and minorities did not have to still deal with these acts of discrimination then there would no longer be necessary to have all these "emotional" feminists, Affirmative Action policies and etc. But I notice that people who question things like Affirmative Action never bother to point out the reasons WHY these policies, laws and etc. were established to begin with I guess it would raise too many disturbing questions about how women and minorities were treated or dealt with in the past and in the present time!

I think you can use the word "tendencies" rather than stereotypes. Stereotype implies that ALL are a certain way, and that's far from the truth.

One tendency that I ABSOLUTELY know is false is that men are cruder than women. It's the other way around, when you can catch them talking amongst themselves. When I used to wait tables, most of the waitstaff were women, and they are every bit as crude, if not cruder, then men in a lockerroom.

Men thing women are weak and cannot bear pain and extreme weather,but we are the persons who deliver a baby bearing lot of pain.We can stay in extreme cold or extreme hot weathers but men can't.We can also bear physical as well as mental pain more than men.
