I am just curious to find out how others think on this issue. I see it more as a control mechanism.

I believe that the Rapture will happen for those who believe. It will be on a personnel level. Not everyone will have their own rapture. Some are born in rapture, that's how I like to think of people with autism. In Eastern Religions the Rapture is called "Enlightenment". it's how you view the whole and not what you believe but how you live. In other words: The life you live is your evil and the life your lived is your Devil. (Cardinal Grammar had so much fun when he created the English language).

I do not believe in it. I see no where in the bible where it is spoken of. I believe it to be a evangelical christian misconception.
