Nice doggy, please spare us that doggerel ! I can't stand that song, and unfortunately its being played a lot at funerals. The words were by Rod McKuen, one of the lousiest "poets" ever born, and they make absolutely no sense. Of course neither does the song "McArthur Park" with all its "sweet green icing melting down (because) someone left the cake out in the rain." Funny, I always LIKED that one!
