We would enslave it of course. We would work to make sure that its rights were fewer than our own. We would use it as we see fit, just as we do with every other life form that we encounter.
We already do this, it is called procreation and our treatment of children is well documented.

If this were to ever happen I think it would be a disaster for mankind. We would put everything into this creature to make it better then us and if it survived it would use the skills and tools of it's mind that were created to be perfect to overpower us.

You are making the assumption that viral entities did not first create us.
