As I'm sure you've heard, Congressman Ron Paul (R-Texas) has garnered much support with his message of freedom and upholding the Constitution, particularly with restoring our civil liberties and opposing a foreign policy that has cost our country thousands of lives and billions of dollars.

The Constitution provides careful limits, beyond which, under no circumstances can our government pass. It allows political decisions based on what's best for the FREEDOM of the people of this country. Not what's "best" for "the people". No one knows what's "best" for "the people". The details of "best" are best left to the individual.

Ron Paul, in my opinion, is the only candidate that gets this and is prepared to mend the most important document of our country which has been treated w/ about as much respect by the Bush administration as toilet paper.

In honor of Constitution Week, I've donated to his campaign (RonPaul2008). If you support Ron Paul, have you/will you also, or just talk the talk?

I would never donate to an idiot that blames America and its actions for 9/11 and not the terrorists responsible. The man is a total loser and does not deserve an "R" behind his name. He is a loser of a libertarian and not a "R" and should be honest enough to run as a loser Libertarian and stop trying to claim he's a Republican. I'd vote for Hillary or even Edwards before I voted for a loser like Ron Paul.

Yes I have....

It's funny all the lowlifes come here and trash him... DID you bother to read the question.. It clearly says IF YOU SUPPORT RON PAUL***

ronald r, Before you go foaming at the mouth... have you read the constitution???? You can't even seem to read and answer a question properly....

Second of all sweetheart, give up the arguments.. President Bush's failed benchmarks are more than enough to prove that the operation in Iraq was, still and always will be a failure.. Not to mention the UN reports that CONFIRMED that this war is being faught on false pretenses... Stop being delusional... to fight a war you need a hell of a good reason, Our economy is sinking in debt... WHILE innocent civilians and soliders are being killed....

It's your close minded views that need to change.. go educate yourself...

To the next dumbass that doesn't understand the principal of blowback... THE CIA AND 9/11 COMMISION REPORTS, both CONFIRMED THAT NOT the United States but the government's foreign policy that is responsible for blowback, unintended consequences... Unless you have a hearing problem anyone with any common sense can figure that considering our current foreign policy of divide and conquer

And if your officials were so correct and understand the constitution so well then why don' t you explain this to me:

-They said Iraq would never go into civil war... Umm what exactly is happening now

-They said it would be quick and cheap
So much debt, six years later... right

It's not working, get a grip on reality...

While I support Ron Paul and will be voting for him, because of the reasons you listed, I have not been able to donate, yet, due to finance issues from changing jobs recently.

I plan to donate as soon as I can.

Yes, I have donated and I'm proud to have donated.

I totally agree with Jess-is-beautiful, it sure would be nice if everyone could show a little more respect for the person who wrote the question, even if you don't agree with him.
Thank you for the question.

The Constitution provides careful limits? Is this why scholars and jurists constantly debate and try to unravel its mysteries?
You and the rest of his sheep just have to wait until the election to see how totally out of touch this guy is.
I do not, I will not and unlike you Paulists, I know talk is cheap.
