I only enjoy military history on "Mail Call" (if it's even still on). R. Lee Ermey totally rocks.

I had a history teacher in 7th and 8th grade that got me excited about history itself and then as an Army ROTC cadet in college I threw myself into the subject.

I grew up among military men. I live to this day to listen to the stories they tell. Recently, my war decorated hero father, now in his eighties, visited me and we had breakfast at a Denny's near Ft. Lewis in Washington state. The place was loaded with young GIs. My father speaks bold and loud. And, as he told one absolutely amazing war story after another, you could have heard a pin drop in that restaurant. Every single soldier there was glued to my father's stories!
