Im taking a marketing class in college and wanted to get people's views about vera wang going to kohls to sell clothes, purses, etc there. What is everyone's opinion on that? Does it seem to be risky at all? meaning her clothes are notorious for being higher end, would this make those who use to buy her clothes now think less of them? thanks for the input!

I don't think it will hurt her at all, she is reaching more consumers by selling $90.00 dresses to people who cannot afford the $9000 dresses. I think people will thank her and appreciate her creating Simply Vera. Oprah had her on her show and they had models wearing the affordable Simply line and outfits that are expensive. She is a smart cookie in my opinion. Good luck in your class and God Bless!

The items for Kohl's will be her design ,
But I'll bet the fabrics are polyester .

Any designers higher end items are Not made from petro products .
The high stuff is silk , cottons , linens , wools , etc .
