The book was going to be published anyway. They just want the money. I don't blame them. Anything to make him suffer.

What the Goldmans want is justice. They were denied any justice in the murder trial. They sued and won a civil judgment but OJ hid his assets and his multimillion dollar pension is protected. So OJ got away with murder and then didn't have to pay anything.
It's easy to find what they are doing as illogical. But it makes perfect sense. They will persue the little bit of justice they can get a little bit at a time. And it doesn't have to make sense to anybody else. We didn't lose a beloved son.

OJ has notpaid a dime of the money he owes from being found liable for te deaths in the civil lawsuit. This was the Goldman family's way of making him pay...

Imagine if your loved one was massacred and the person responsible was let off the charges criminally and basically civily. Blacks got what they wanted, one of their own was let off because of possible riot pressure. Now they want him to dodge any attemt of paying what he owes from the verdict. That being said, the Goldmans won the judgement. All they want is some kind of justice. The book may be peanuts compared to the judgement but it is at least something.

Because Fred is greedy and wanted to get all the publicity he could. If he really cared, he would have killed the book after getting the rights.

Probably because Orenthal Simpson is trash - and he owed them millions in the civil case after he murdered their son Ron , as well as the mother of Simpson's 2 kids .
