The Germans had better tanks, amour, and guns than the allied forces. what they didn't have were the factories, raw materials, and manpower that the allies had once the USA entered the war.Once the US war effort started rolling it was down hill for the GERMANS after that.

I'm afraid the Germans had the superior forces with the German Panzer tanks and, they even had a huge monster tank that had to be taken out of the line due to the weight. It sank on the soft country roads.
The British and Americans had the Sherman tanks with the light 60 mm gun, the German had the 90. It wasn't until almost the end of the war when the Americans came out with the 90 mm and heavy armor, it was faster and more Superior to the German tank. Later on the Americans came out with a 120 gun, then later with a 155 track vehicle.

We dad have the maneuvering powering and the flanking and battle power the Germans didn't seem to have. The big Panzer didn't seen to be able to maneuver like the smalled Sherman, this save the Sherman in a lot of battles.

Actually saying the Germans had better tanks at the first of the war is a little misleading... Germany had horrible tanks at the beginning of World War II, and Czechslovakia had some of the best tanks in the world. As the war went on, German tanks improved until they were the best in the world (with the Tiger tanks which would put up a good fight even today). The United States just had massive numbers of crappy tanks (the Shermans mainly) and really used the massive numbers to win. In general though, the Soviet T-34 is considered the best tank of World War II.

they both had tanks but the germans had superior firearms at the start of the war, but they also had a shortage of unconventional leaders. Rommel was basically running the show himself, where we had Patton, Bradley, Ike, etc guys who thought outside the box and were willing to try anything to get the job done. Hitler was also their biggest liability. as his instability increased the more he made bad decisions, like listening to the astrologer who told him to defend Calais when his soldiers were telling him we were going to hit Normandy.
once he died and the nazi corps fell it was easy pickin's since the soldiers in the field also surrendered instead of trying to keep fighting like the confederates did in the civil war.

Compared one-to-one, the Germans had better tanks, but by 1944-45,US tank doctrine had learned from the German "blitzkrieg" and improved upon it. So the American "tank armies" were far superior.
