She probably does have some mental problems.

I don't think it's mental problems at all. I think it is having fame and notoriety with alot of money and a lack of knowledge and home training. If she were poor living where she grew up she wouldn't be running from the paparrazi in an expensive SUV or getting photographed all the time without panties at awards shows or being able to afford to party as hard as she has. She would be just another person getting pulled over or arrested for DUI or not even noticed for how poorly she treats her kids.
Having money and fame makes you able to expose yourself to tons of new and odd things while the public is watching you under a microscope. I don't think she is doing anything strange that non-famous people do, she's doing it on a larger scale is all.

She's not that great of an actress (trust I was one of the unfortunate few who've seen Crossroads) but I don't think she wants attention or sympathy. Unfortunately the paparazzi and the media won't give the girl a break. She has problems but I don't think they are mental problems. Poor Brit.

Mental all the way! Her addiction is taking her down and it won't be long before she loses everything. She will have to hit the bottom of the barrel before she will actually be able to look the ugly addiction in the face. She's just playing right now she's not serious about getting help.

Even if she's putting on an act to garner sympathy, it's still a sign of mental issues. She's not cut out for fame. She needs to go live in a trailer park somewhere.

She has mental problems...but think about your question.....even IF she's acting the way she is...JUST for attention....that alone tells me there's a mental problem....it's too bad,cause she was on top of the world not SSOOO long ago.

Broccoli Spears is suffering from acute heart break from her failed marriage...I'm sure it has been enough to completely fling her over the edge...I went through a divorce and it can be so completely heart breaking especially if you still have any love left for your spouse...plus they hav the kids too...it must be very hard for her now.
