One year when we were kids it poured down rain and we never did get to go Trick or Treating, and no one we knew was having a party, so we just sat there and ate the candy we'd bought to give out.

The year that just before we went trick or treating, my brother (dressed as Jack Frost) fell and split open his head on the coffeetable. Instead of candy he got stitches. I got to sit in the emergency room.

when my friend dared me to go to my crushes house trick or treating
