Not all the girls. A lot of them probably associate them with the baby dolls they grew up playing with. They were probably taught that babies are fun to hold. I'm a girl who grew up being a tomboy. Babies don't seem the least bit interesting to me.

It's called the mother's instinct. It's not just women either, men are like that too. My brother loves to hold babies.
