The 1976 Reds did.

And for a bit of added trivia, The Reds are currently on a 9 game World Series winning streak. After winning the last game of the '75 World Series against Boston. They swept the Yankees in '76. And swept the A's in '90.

Back in the Olde Dayes, when there was only the World Series, there were 10 sweeps of 4-0 and two more that went 4-0-1 (ties not being so unusual before electric lights).

Since the League Championship Series was added in 1969, only the 1976 Cincinnati Reds have been undefeated, knocking off the Philadelphia Phillies 3-0 and dumping the New York Yankees 4-0 in the World Series, for an overall 7-0.

Since the Division Series was added in 1995, no, no team has gone undefeated. The best any team has gone is 11-1, shared by the 1999 Yankees and the 2005 Chicago White Sox. Each lost one game in the LCS round.

i admire observing baseball on all ranges. getting to work out the ideal product (MLB) is interesting. extensive ballparks, a lot of followers, merely each and all the capability happening around you. yet its stable to get out and watch the up and comers too. you are able to discover some super performs even on the a point golf equipment. Its cool to reveal screen the form and spot how long (if ever) the adult adult males you observed in the minors take to interrupt out into the bigs... to not point out, taking a kinfolk to a minor league park is a lot greater user-friendly on the wallet. Minors ball seems to be all on the subject of the followers too, not a lot the bigheaded egomaniac primadonna gamers. The t-shirts, giveaways, gimmicks, and so on... its purely an excellent kinfolk time.
