How have you taken a passion and put it into action?

What is a cause that you are passionate about? What something you are passionate about changing or making better?

I live on the edge of town and every spring I get kittens and sometimes puppies dumped in my neighborhood. I get them fixed at my own expense and keep them untill I find homes for them.
