Of course they do. A little rain never hurt anyone. Even during the winter they are out there tolerating anything mother nature puts in front of them and its their job to accept it. There have been times where the post office will refuse to drop your mail off if the mail rout is by foot and not by truck (depending where the mail boxes are located) because your drive way hasn't been shoveled or it needs salt on it to protect the mail carrier from slipping and falling. They even have to deal with dogs that are loose.....so if all these challenges effect their job....a little rain is nothing.

Yes, about the only thing that will prevent the mail carrier from delivering mail to your house is a vicious dog. Here the mail carrier can refuse and you'll have to pick up your mail at the local post office.

They do, at least in the USA. The USPS motto is something like, "Neither rain, nor snow, nor dark of night, shall stay these messengers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds."

Neither rain, nor sleet, nor gloom of night will keep the postman from his appointed rounds. Says nothing about sunny days!
