The casting agent is the new kid on the block trying to make a buck from the millions of wannabe actors out there. They talk big but deliver small. They are supposed to help actors get roles. They may do that a little, for established actors. I have never heard of one getting anyone his or her first professional role. Save you time effort and money to get a
Talent Agent and forget casting agents for now.

....the agent helps you get into audtions the agent also talks to the director about u.....and he or she makes 10-15% of wht u earn...and also..the agent tells u about your headshots..if they should be this color or if u should change your hair style or anything...make sure when u get a agent...ask him or her..anyhting about acting...like..how should my headshot be..how many do i need...talk to the agent..but not too much...cause the agent might be on a important phone call...or a audition call..soo only call the agent at night..cause thats when he or shes home..hopes this helps
