USC is number one in the country, but from watching them play, they have nowhere near the talent that LSU has. Don't get me wrong, I"m an LSU fan, but seriously! LSU has a way better team than anyone in the NCAA. Glenn Dorsey is a mammoth on Defense, and NO ONE can stop them on offense. SO WHY IS USC STILL NUMBER 1?

Because of they are popular, where they live (L.A.), and because they can ride roughshod over their conference. But if anyone cares to look at the stats as of this morning and be honest, everyone would see that LSU is actually the #1 team.
LSU's defense has allowed only 1 TD compared to USC's defense allowing 5 TD's
LSU's defense had only allowed 30 yards rushing compared to USC's allowance of 64
USC beat a 14th ranked team by a margin of 18 points compared to LSU beating a 9th ranked team by 41 points.
So i agree --- How can anyone in their right mind vote USC over LSU??????
And when they say strength of schedule, I really have to laugh...The SEC has 6 teams ranked in the top 25, more then any other conference.....And according to them the SEC is the weaker conference????
Give me a break.....

A convention would not make a team better. very last nighttime confirmed me something in USC, they can win no count number what the state of affairs. 3 of their accurate CBs went down, 2 of their taking off offensive lineman went down, very questionable consequences hostile to them, playing on the line in a adversarial enviorment, and nevertheless pulled out a win. They don't. USC will smash them, provided LSU even makes it to the BCS Championship game.
