Of course not. It just goes to show that a 1-AA or whatever they call it these days is not second rate football. They are a good team and played very well that day. They matched up well against Michigan who did not play well. They earned that win and could probably hang around with the top 10 teams but I don't think they could beat most of them.

BTW Michigan plays very well against PSU. That is their 9th straight win in that series.

No way...Appalachian St. had they run the table for the season would have most likely broken in to the top 25.
They lost to Wofford today,I'm sure that won't earn any
kudos from the poll voters.Look what Boise State did
win every game on their schedule and didn't break into
the top 5.There's your answer for Cinderella teams,they
sure don't get treated like their going to the ball.

no, they should be getting votes for the top 25 though. App St. played very well and deserved to beat UM, but overall, UM is a better team than their record shows.
