Yes it does. Fiberglas is a trademark. Glass fiber insulation is bonded together by a phonolic resin adhesive. If there is a building fire, the phenolic resin catches fire. The glass fiber acts as a wick to conduct the fire like the wick of a candle to all parts of the mass.
