What kind of fly - a real one or an artificial, hand-tied one?
Real ones, occasionally, artificial ones - never, as I leave that for the trout.
Heck, I thought your question was leading to something entirely different, and I don't think I want to answer THAT one!

never!!!! but I have read we swallow about 8 spiders in our lifetime when we are asleep honestly I aint kidding LOL

OOOOHHHHH yes quite often when I cycled my bike to school. I remember trying to cough it up all day! Hasnt happened in a while now though. Thanks for the memory!
