I apologize, but you know what I want to happen.

Wow! I've never seen you this angry before! But you're right, as great as their offense is, there overall pitching is that bad. Let's face it, the pitching staff has too many starters passed their prime and too many young pitchers with not enough experience. You'd like that would be a good combination but for some reason it hasn't work out that well.
Their offense has bailed them out all year and hopefully will continue during the playoff. The Yankees have to address two very important issues during the off season. One: they have to fix their pitching staff and Two: they have to resign A-Rod.
Chamberlain was designed to be a future Yankee starter and next season that is exactly what will happen. Rivera is not invincible anymore so they have to address that as well.

What I can't understand is why Farnsworthless is still wearing a Yankees uniform! I went to 3 games this year and TWICE Farnsworthless blew leads! He melts like butter under a heat gun! He has deserved EVERY SINGLE booing he got this year!! I jsut PRAY TO GOD that he is left off the postseason roster and Phil Hughes and Ian Kennedy are on there instead. Pretty bad that I would rather give the ball to a rookie with 3 starts than a veteran reliever, but Farnsworthless BLOWS!!!

the two, I propose you will be able to desire to grant credit for the two communities for that interesting interest. in any case, for the pink Sox offense, which btw, grew to become into meant to be Boston's weak spot grew to become into remarkable this nighttime, Varitek, Grand Slam ? particularly. in any case, the offense grew to become into surprising with Ellsbury, Pedroia, getting on base and everyone interior the line-up hitting exceedingly Mike Lowell. Yankees Bullpen may be, take a deep breath, as undesirable as Mets' bullpen final 12 months, or a tad bit greater advantageous because of the fact which you have have been given Mo although Rivera reminded as final nighttime that he grew to become into regardless of each little thing human. Plus Brian Bruney went on DL, it particularly is undesirable information for the yankees because of the fact that hes the 2d ultimate pitcher there, consistent with probability call up Phil Hughes as a starter and positioned Joba interior the pen as a series-up guy for Rivera.

In the playoffs, the rotation is three starters, so there will be help for the bullpen....but the three relievers you mentioned will be enough to get through, as long as the starters can give 5-6 solid innings. I don't care what team it is...if the starters can't go that number of innings, there will be real early October tee times for the players.

Rivera is only reliable when the team has a record below .500. In fact, that goes without saying for every pitcher on your team. When that cold air sets in, the balls won't be flyin know more. Offense wins games, defense wins championships.

I'd have to agree with you here.
Their bullpen will cost them in the long run here.
Don't feel bad tho, the White Sox early in the year led the American League in quality starts only to have the bullpen fail.
The Sox didn't have the benefit of a GR8 offense at that time too.

Talk about it, well we won on a walk off single. I would rather have another one of 'em Walk Off Grand Slams but oh well.

When Toronto was beating the Sox, the Sox were losing to an "easy" team.
So tell me...just how easy is it playing Toronto???
